Nosso Corpo é Político (Our Body is Political) proposes a connection between the memory of those who have already made history and those who are currently marking this timeless moment in the political history of this movement. Bodies that have sought and continue to seek to be a strong figure, empowering those who still cannot feel like a part of society as individuals who contribute. The body, which was once only violated, is now the body that speaks and places itself in a position of admiration. The Drags of the Coletivo Acuenda are always dedicated to performances that engage with the audience and inspire feelings and desires for better days for peripheral and dissident bodies. We wish for and celebrate a daily life with less violence for LGBTQIA+ bodies. In the voices of Cazuza, Elza Soares, Elis Regina, Ney Matogrosso, Pabllo Vittar, Glória Groove, Liniker, among others, the collective performs these artists and their songs through the Drag Queen language.
